We’ve been building quality steel and wood structures for residential, commercial and agricultural customers since 1986. In the early years of our operation, the company served the local area mainly as a sub-contractor. Our focus on superior quality, skilled craftsmanship, honesty, and integrity helped to forge relationships with local general contractors, suppliers, and developers.
Father and son team Titus and Jonathan Martin have a combined 60+ years of experience in the construction industry. In 2000, they acquired the company and grew it from twenty employees to more than forty employees. Brecknock Builders has two distinct divisions - steel and wood construction - each with its own team of specialized and experienced staff.
In addition, we are a trusted dealer for a number of well-known pre-engineered metal building manufacturers including Ceco Building Systems, Nucor Building Systems, Corle Building Systems, and Trachte Buildings Systems.

Meet Our Team
Jonathan purchased Brecknock Builders in 2000 and currently serves as the Managing Member. He is heavily involved with the company's sales as well as estimating and managing projects.
He likes to see the employees get satisfaction from their jobs, and believes team morale plays an important role in production the high quality workmanship Brecknock Builders is known for.
Before purchasing Brecknock Builders, Jonathan worked in the construction industry as early as a young teenager.
STEEL SALES AND ESTIMATING
Jonathan has been working for Brecknock Builders since 2009. As a Senior Estimator, Jonathan handles estimating, early design, and value engineering. "It is extremely satisfying to come to work every day with men of such high ethical character," Jonathan says.
Prior to working for Brecknock Builders, Jonathan worked as a Project Manager for several large contractors and owned his own business. He has over 30 years of experience in the construction industry and is a specialist in pre-engineered buildings and AutoCAD.
ANDREW B. HOOVER
SALES / PROJECT MANAGER
Andrew joined the team at Brecknock Builders in 2013 and currently handles sales and design/build projects - bringing clients ideas into reality.
Before his work at Brecknock Builders, Andrew worked in timber frame construction, building homes, bank barns and horse barns for over 20 years.
David joined our drafting team in June of 2018.
He brings with him 10yrs of Residential Construction, a degree in Architecture, Sketch-Up and 22 years of AutoCAD Drafting.
David provides knowledgeable insight and hands-on experience to his Designs and Drawings.
These detailed drawings help our projects start and stay on track to meet customer’s satisfactions.

Dan has been working with Brecknock Builders since 2012. As a project supervisor, he works closely with the project managers, the crews in the field, and with the clients to keep projects on task and on schedule. He most enjoys seeing the clients dreams and ideas becoming reality.
Dan greatly respects the moral standards and values of Brecknock Builders, and their commitment to quality and craftsmanship.
He had his start in construction back in 2007, building custom homes for a small, family-owned construction company.
Drew T. Miller
Drew joined the Brecknock Team in February 2018. As Site Superintendent of the Steel Division, Drew enjoys the interactions with all parties involved in the project onsite, as the job progresses. He works closely with the Project Manager, subcontractors, inspectors, and customer to ensure the entire project comes together in an organized and timely fashion.
Drew began working in the commercial steel construction industry in 2011 and has been supervising projects since 2013.
GENERAL MANAGER WOOD DIVISION
Titus began his career with Brecknock Builders in 2000 and currently serves as General Manager of the company's wood division. He estimates projects, purchases tools and equipment and manages construction crews. He most enjoys the satisfaction of a job completed successfully by the team where the customers is pleased with the work.
Prior to his work at Brecknock Builders, Titus worked for a small construction company for 22 years. He has over 45 years of experience in the construction industry.
James has been working for Brecknock Builders since 2013 and currently manages projects, schedules installation crews and equipment moves, tracks large equipment, and maintains the long-term schedule.
James has been involved in the construction industry since 1987 and project management since 1999.
Steve joined Brecknock Builders in 2010 and currently oversees the company's day-to-day financial activities as well as financial planning, forecasting, payroll, and tax strategies.
Prior to his work at Brecknock Builders, Steve worked as an Accountant Consultant for several small businesses. He also worked as a General Manager for a specialty building material supplier and contractor where he handled supervisory duties, public relations, marketing, profitability, sales, and service.
Steve has a B.S. in Business Administration from Millersville University and advanced knowledge of General Accepted Accounting Principles and tax strategies. He is also well versed in quantitative methods to manage and implement effectiveness, also known as KPI.
Bob joined the team here at Brecknock Builders in late 2016. His present duties include estimating a variety of wood jobs including pole buildings, residential remodels, outside living spaces and new home construction. He enjoys the detailed nature of the work.
Prior to his time here, Bob worked for roughly 25 years in hands-on construction. His skills included rough and finish carpentry, as well as interior finishes such as drywall, painting, and kitchen installations. This background has helped him since 2000 when he transitioned to his present work as an estimator. He enjoys seeing estimated jobs become a reality for our customers.
Thomas A. Schaller
Tom joined the Brecknock Builders team in July of 2018. As an Estimator/Project Coordinator, Tom conducts many of the estimates, design concepts, and initial project startups for the steel and wood divisions.
Tom has been involved in the construction industry for over 30 years, with extensive knowledge of both commercial and residential construction and code compliance. Tom has a B.S. in Industrial Tech/Visual Communications CAD Drafting from Millersville University.
He enjoys working through building design and details with customers to meet their needs and their budget.
Site supervisor & manager
Javan has worked at Brecknock for 14 years; with several years of that being on the pre-engineered steel crew, but the majority of those years on the mini storage crew. He is responsible for all the large equipment tracking and scheduling. What Javan enjoys most is when everything goes smoothly on projects for the customer and the work crews... making a satisfying experience for everyone.
